From Racer to Builder

From a former professional racer to building our own cycling shoe brand, everything we do is driven by a single philosophy: Inspired Performance. Focused Power. We are driven by passion for the goal, for the sport, and for the ride. That’s how IPFP came to life.

After over a decade in the pro peloton, testing countless products at the highest level, I learned exactly what holds up when the pace surges — and what fails when you need it most. But I also realized that race-grade engineering shouldn’t be reserved for the elite few. So, we set out to build cycling shoes that deliver uncompromised power transfer and real performance to every rider, at a price that makes sense.

Our R&D process is relentless: design, rapid prototyping, rigorous field testing, and continuous refinement. We log thousands of kilometers in prototypes — optimizing carbon layups on steep gradients, dialing in the ergonomics on endurance rides, and stress-testing our rotary dials through tens of thousands of cycles to ensure absolute lockdown during sprints. No shoe goes to production without being pushed to the limit and signed off by the team who engineered it.

Our wide, race-ready last was developed because we heard too many riders complain about restrictive fits. Our adaptive TPU upper was refined during grueling, high-intensity rides — proving that comfort isn’t a luxury; it’s the foundation of sustained performance.

We aren’t a massive marketing machine. We are cyclists and builders who stay up late tweaking samples and obsessing over structural stiffness.
